Since 1982, Builder Investment Group has helped clients navigate the investment markets with personalized service to meet each client’s specific objectives.  We are delighted to share the snapshots below of our key principals and their experience in serving our clients.

Allen A. Builder

Mr. Builder, President, formed Builder Investment Group, an Atlanta-based registered investment advisory firm, in 1982.  The firm specializes in personalized portfolio management services for individuals and employee benefit plans.  Mr. Builder has responsibility for portfolio management, flex-income policy, as well as Venture Capital and Private Placement activity.  Formerly an officer with Montag & Caldwell and BankSouth in Atlanta, he began his investment career with Marine Midland Bank in New York.

Mr. Builder is a member of the Investment Committee of New Venture Partners located in New York City and a member of the Board of Advisors for Woodside Fund in San Francisco.  He also serves on the Advisory Counsel of The Centennial Funds and Meritage Private Equity Fund, both in Denver, and Catalyst Investors in New York City.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of Centennial Ventures, LLC in Denver and LinkSpot Networks Systems in Reston, VA.  He is a graduate of Parsons College and the New York Bankers Association Investment School.

Dale R. Hajost

Dale Hajost is a Principal at Builder Investment Group in Atlanta, where he has practiced since 1992.  Dale has been working as an Investment Advisor since 1988 and works closely with clients in developing strategic investment plans to assist them in making educated and worthwhile investments that encourage financial security.

Prior to joining the firm, Dale earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his Masters of Business Administration from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University.  Following West Point, Dale served as a U.S. Army Officer for 6 1/2 years, commanding and staffing aviation units as a qualified UH-60 Blackhawk Pilot.  He continued his service in the U.S. Army Reserves for an additional 16 years until his retirement in 2004.

Dale now spends his free time in a different kind of uniform as an Assistant Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 444 in Marietta.  He also holds and has held several different leadership positions at his church, Due West Methodist, and leads members of its congregation on medical mission trips to Guatemala each year.  He and his wife have two grown children.

J. Montgomery Jackson

J. Montgomery Jackson (Monte) is an experienced wealth management professional with Builder Investment Group, based in Atlanta, Georgia. Monte joined the Builder team over 23 years ago and has enjoyed a track record of success in both performance and client retention. While each client’s account strategies are unique, Monte employs fundamental principles focused on growth balanced with thoughtful risk management that regularly meet or exceed expectations. His clients include both high net worth individuals and a variety of family foundations.

His early career helped him gain experience in both the trading markets and the essential tools necessary for this complex industry, including prior work at Reuters, Baseline Financial Services, and Trading Technologies, Inc. Monte received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a Major in Finance and a Minor in Accounting and Economics from Oklahoma State University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of Atlanta. He also serves as Treasurer of the North Buckhead Civic Association.

Monte is happily married and the proud dad of two adult children. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, exercising, golf, reading, and cooking. In fact, his interest in cooking led him to become a member of Les Marmitons, a men’s gourmet cooking club.
